  • Single A League

A game may start if a team has a minimum of 7 players.

  • Late-Arriving Players: Any player who arrives after the game has started must be added to the end of the batting order.

  • Playing with 8 Players: If a team plays with 8 players (or 7), the opposing team's head coach must choose one of two options before the first pitch:

    1. Take an automatic out for the 9th (and 8th, if applicable) spot in the batting order.

    2. Allow the missing spot(s) to be skipped with no penalty.
